The beneficiation reagent is the sodium salt of cellulose carboxymethyl ether, which is an anionic cellulose ether. It is white or milky white fibrous powder or granule with a density of 0.5-0.7g/cm3, almost odorless, tasteless and hygroscopic. Easy to disperse in water into a transparent colloidal solution, insoluble in ethanol and other organic solvents. 1% aqueous solution pH is 6.5~8.5, when pH>10 or <5, the viscosity of the mucilage is significantly reduced, and the performance is good at pH = 7. For thermal stability, the viscosity rises rapidly below 20 ℃, changes slowly at 45 ℃, and heating for a long time above 80 ℃ can make its colloidal denaturation and viscosity and performance decreased significantly. Soluble in water, transparent solution; stable in alkaline solution, easy to hydrolyze in case of acid, precipitation will occur when the PH value is 2-3, and precipitation will also occur when polyvalent metal salts are encountered.
