Traits:Light yellow or gray white powder (or particles) with pungent odor, soluble in water and alcohol, can form insoluble compounds with a variety of metal ions.
Main purpose:Sodium (potassium) butyl xanthate is a flotation reagent with strong collecting ability, which is widely used in mixed flotation of various non-ferrous metal sulfide ores. The product is particularly suitable for chalcopyrite, sphalerite, pyrite flotation. Under certain conditions, it can be used to preferentially float copper sulfide ore from iron sulfide ore, and also to float sphalerite activated with copper sulfate.
