Traits:Light yellow powder (or particles) with pungent odor, soluble in water, alcohol, etc., can form insoluble compounds with cobalt, copper, nickel and other metal ions.
Main purpose:Sodium ethyl xanthate is the best selective collector in xanthate series. It can be widely used in the preferential flotation of easily floating or complex non-ferrous metal sulfide ores. It can also be used with vulcanizing agent and applied to the flotation of copper and lead oxide ores. It can also be used as a hydrometallurgical precipitant (e. g., zinc electrolyte purification) and as a rubber vulcanization accelerator.
