What is mineral processing?

Mineral processing includes three processes of ore washing, crushing and beneficiation. In the process of enriching valuable metals from low-content, multi-metal symbiotic ores and processing them into concentrates with higher metal content, various types of collectors, frothers, inhibitors, flocculants, etc. need to be added. Treatment of wastewater

At present, the common mineral processing wastewater treatment methods usually have two kinds of lime neutralization precipitation method and flocculation precipitation method. Lime neutralization precipitation method is often used in acidic mineral processing wastewater containing heavy metal ions, which can remove heavy metal ions while neutralizing the acid in the wastewater, and recover valuable metals from the precipitation residue. Flocculation sedimentation method by adding FeSO4 and alum and other flocculants, so that it and heavy metal hydroxide particles in the flocculation mode bridge chain, form a larger particle co-precipitation. In order to speed up the precipitation rate of heavy metal hydroxides and improve the precipitation efficiency, technological measures can be taken to strengthen the precipitation process, such as adding inclined plates and inclined tube devices in the sedimentation tank.
